Still working on things. We didn't get the goal, and I'm just finishing my vacation tomorrow, but I think we should still try to get everything done as soon as possible.

I didn't see Whitecloak as a prestige class (or anywhere else). I think it should definitely be in there somewhere, even if only in the Antagonists chapter.I know I would use them heavily if I were running a WOT game. It might be cool as a playable class but I think it would only work in an all-Whitecloack campaign (or at least a party without latent abilities).

I may have just missed it but I thought I would point it out.

The Whitecloak Talent Tree is a part of the Veteran Warrior, as is the Warder Talent Tree.

Honestly, I don't want a system with a thousand prestige classes. I want to keep it to a minimal amount of broad prestige classes. The Veteran Warrior is sort of a catch-all for heroic members of any standing army, from the Band of the Red Hand to any nation's troops, as well as Whitecloaks, Warders, Borderland Patrolmen, etc.

In my perfect world, there wouldn't even be prestige classes. There would be base classes, and prestige talents for those base classes. But, this isn't a system rewrite as much as it is a conversion. Plus, in an even more perfect version of my world, we'd be using the Storyteller System anyway, so it's all moot.

But there you go. The answer, and a too-long explanation. Hope it helps. Thanks for the feedback.

Oh, don't worry. It's not nearly as long as mine usually are:) And I love the Storyteller System too (although not as much as my homebrew system of course).

"Thanks for the feedback" Aw, shucks. The least I could do. I've been feeling rather useless. I'm (1 bad at game design, especially conversions. 2. I haven't read more than half of the WOT books.) In fact I probably need to re-read those soon.

Anyway, I hope you keep up the good work. Oh, and you've got me thinking about possibly doing a Storyteller conversion for WOT. I think it would really fit the setting.

Thanks for the inspiration.

I've started work on a Storyteller System conversion a few times. I think it would be awesome.

I am adding the Advanced Classes chapter to the list on the previous page. Probably will end up being the longest chapter.

Due to a recent promotion at work, I have been super busy lately. I'm still working on things, but for now, I'm taking a rather slower pace. There are only a few more hurdles before this whole project is complete, but this promotion comes with a good raise, though it also comes with a move from Washington state to Kansas, and I have a lot of new responsibilities.

We'll finish this project, and soon, but I just wanted to let everyone know where I've been lately.

Oh, starting next week I'll once again have more time to work on this stuff. Fear not, friends.

I'm still working on the few remaining chapters I have to finish. It's coming along.

Alright! Back into things. One thing that was really bumping me was the organizations rules, so I simplified them. Once I did that, it took me like two days to write this chapter.

You've come up with good ideas for those Ajah-specific weaves. I don't remember if we already talked about it, but normally, weave which can be maintained can also be tied off if you know how to do the trick. Is it for balance reasons you chose to make some of the weaves not tie-able?

Also, for the WEIGH DOWN weave, the One Power affecting gravity is not really something we've seen in the books, so I'd try to rephrase how the weave works to give it a more Wheel of Time feel (for example, the same effect would occur by wrapping the target in thick air).

Partly. I just don't want certain weaves to be permanent. I'll have to figure something out for that.

Good advice, Zinuk! I'll make that modification. Really, what I was going for, was it changes the way the body of the target REACTS to gravitational pull, but I think you're right, it would be more Wheel of Timey if it was done as an Air weave instead.

Plus, I wanted something that would seem like an ancient, long-forgotten weave that the Browns might have found somewhere in some ancient text.

Here's the Equipments chapter.
